"Fast Food Nation" is the name of a book, was written by Eric Schlosser on 2001. In a part of the book, the author talks about kids who became targeted by market. Each child in the US watches TV for 21 hours a week and in average watches 30,000 TV commercial each year.  The explosion in children to advertisement started from 1980 and the idea came from Ray Kroc and Walt Disney who said children can recognize advertisement when they are two years old. The phrase "cradle to grave" came from this idea.
A study on 1991 shows that Joe Camel ( a brand of cigarette) can be identified by six years old children. An interesting result came the following years, it indicates one third on children chose Camel over other brands when they become adult. Explosion to ad for children is the key factor, they should see the advertisement frequently on TV, internet, children's club and billboards. After that, they insist to their parents to buy the product  and force them to purchase what ever they want. It is interesting to know that based on another study ( Ad traction study 2) Taco bell, Pepsi and Nike are the most popular advertisements among kids, but the most favorite TV commercial was Busweiser. These nostalgic childhood memories of a brand will lead them to purchase it for lifetime.

Pepsi Vs Coca Cola

This advertisement is made by pepsi company. It shows how people even children understand Coca Cola is not a good drink and they prefer Pepsi over Coca Cola. At the beginning you can see a child in undeveloped country goes to vending machine to buy his drink. The atmosphere of the ad shows that the boy is not from wealthy family and each coin is important for him. Even with his situation, he does not accept Coca and he uses Coca as a ladder. Another brilliant idea to show the superiority of Pepsi over Coca is the order on the vending machine, Pepsi is at higher level and Coca is below it. By the way, this commercial was banned and did not broadcast.

How Men Talk to their Wives on the Phone

Very funny advertisement. It shows how Total gas station takes care of its customers. I like the way that this advertisement transfer its message to audience. At the end, you can see every customer with a request even the odd request ( talking over the phone instead of customers) are happy and leave the gas station happy and satisfied.
